Reedsmire Pond

Cooper Bridge Road, Bradley, enter the fishery through the Yorkshire Water Works Entrance.  Parking is only allowed in the official car park on the left, see sign. Two disabled specification platforms for preferential use! Please read the sign at the drop off point. Keep to footpaths and fish from designated pegs only, do not disturb any vegetation in any way or make new fishing pegs. In 2014  Reedsmire was stocked with 500 small Tench, it’s also known to contain Roach, Perch, Skimmers and odd Carp.

Two easy access purpose built disabled platforms with a tackle drop off area just 50 metres from the waterside.

Further Information

This pond is a prolific breeding ground for Bird life with green sheltered vegetation. Our bailiffs here are Bird enthusiasts. The permission and lease for this fishery were years in the negotiation and we must have all Rules respected in order to keep this Oasis. It is ideal for windy days and the most peaceful of surroundings.
